Founded in 1999 by Angela Wilson and Kristina Zamora. The organization started out with 6 dancers in Angela's garage and has grown to 60+ dancers. The Diamonds and Pearls also serves as a 501 (c) 3 non profit mentoring organization.

abilities, potential, and talents God has placed within all his children, through the art of dance and music.

MEET OUR CEO & VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP
Angela started her journey is 1999 as a Co-Founder with 6 dancers in her garage. After many years of sweat equity and prayers, the program has surpassed 60 dancers and become a non-profit organization in 2016.
Angela has not taken on the role as the CEO of the organization to provide sound oversight for the programming, volunteer staff, mentoring programs and grant administration for Diamonds and Pearls Youth Organization. She has over 30 years of administrative, mentoring and non-profit experience.

Melissa has a been an integral part of the organization by serving in various volunteer positions. She was eager to jump in and represent the organization as the Board's President.
Melissa oversees the Executive and Full Board activities and is second in command for the organization. She is responsible for the governance of Diamonds and Pearls; works alongside the CEO to recruit volunteers and provide guidance to committee members.
